We have several meeting rooms, breakout spaces and banquet areas that can be used to tailor your stay at the Chalfonte and help you achieve your goals. Some groups host cocktail parties after a day-long bike ride, or arrange an early breakfast for their “early birders.” Whatever your needs, we are flexible, creative, and ready to assist you. We’re just three blocks from the beach, and walking distance to shops and attractions in the nation’s oldest resort.

We welcome groups of all types; educational, family, outdoor, book clubs, fitness and social groups (and more!) for the months of May, June, September and October. We’re open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day and groups enjoy coming to the Chalfonte without having to fight the high-season crowds on the streets and at the beach! Our group rates (for 25 or more) are affordable, and we are happy to work with you to best suit your budget!

They come to meet, learn, explore, commune with nature and discover all that Cape May has to offer. Come to the Chalfonte and create a gathering that your group will remember for years to come.

Our meeting room is approximately 1500 square feet and can accommodate groups up to 75 people, theater style. To qualify for group rates, please have a minimum group size of 25 people.
